Fashion Downsized – Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

I don’t know a whole lot of little girls who don’t like to play dress up. At the tender ages of two and six, my girls already have strong opinions about what to wear. They would think nothing of leaving the house with multiple layers of tulle, lace, and just about every color combo possible, all rolled into one fantastic outfit. But with today’s trends of mixed prints, ruffles, and even tutus as daywear, every day clothing can let them feel as much like a princess anything that comes out of the costume box.

  • Our house gained it’s first official teenager this week! Not only is it mind-blowing my baby is sooo old… it’s also a terribly emotional time for this momma. The flooding feelings that this phase of my life is ‘over’ stops my heart every-time I think of it. I mean, I’ll still be babysitting her playdates but now I’ll be “babysitting” her “playdates“. Not… [Continue Reading]

  • The other day, I had some friends over to celebrate a birthday. In my little group, we have a lot of ‘intolerances’ between us. One is dairy free, we’ve got a couple of gluten frees, I’m refined sugar free, and two of them can’t do almonds. So what’s a girl to do when baking for a… [Continue Reading]
