Not to me, but rather to four munchkins sharing a party a couple days ago.
Cardi and jeans – JCrew, tank – Target
And what’s the perfect shoe to wear to a kiddie party that involved much climbing and running around? A bootie with a 4 inch heel, of course!
Now call me crazy, but because I am vertically challenged I am rarely seen without my heels on. So I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to wear these super cute booties!
Shoes – Morningstar, socks – JCrew
It was a party, so you know I had to bring out some sparkles!
I simply love sparkles. Whether it be sequins, stones, or even glitter. If it is on a shirt, count me in. Plus what a better way to celebrate a birthday with sparkles. Even if it wasn’t mine.
Jewelry – Lois Hill and Tiffany’s, watch – Michele
Earrings – Wild Ruffle
What would you have worn?
Would you have worn the safe choice? Tennis shoes? Or maybe some high winter boots, which are still incredibly fashionable. Or would you have gone with heels?
I don’t think one is better then the other. As long as you are comfortable in them, that is all that matters. Yes, I did have to run and chase my kids, but I know how to run in heels. Let’s be honest I practically live in them.
Whatever your choice footwear may be, I hope that you are able to confidently rock them. Yay, shoes!
