Ever stand in your closet, staring at everything in there, and feel like you have nothing to wear?
Yeah, that’s me this week.
Or rather, I feel uninspired by what’s in my closet. I know there’s a lot that’s in there, but I’m sick of it all.
I want to throw it all out and begin anew, but as a (mostly) fiscally responsible person, that’s not an option. So I did the next best thing. I pulled it out all, dumped it on my bed, and examined the lot of it.
When I spotted my fur vest, inspiration struck. And now, I’m determined to do it again – I need to mix it up and wear things in new ways, pairing them up with things I’ve never before worn together.
I’ve never tried this vest belted before – in general, belting on top of sweaters is not a good look for my rectangle shape. But I decided to go for it, and for whatever reason, I think it works here. I love how one little accessory can change an entire look. It’s small discoveries like these that get me excited to try new pairings of things. It can change an entire look, it’s almost like getting a whole new outfit. Who doesn’t love a whole new outfit! Get in that closet and rummage around, who knows what is waiting for you!
