Right On Target

Over the past couple of years, I’ve been shopping more and more for clothes at Target.

I’m already there picking up groceries and more, so why not stop in the clothing aisle for a tank top or two?

Plus, since I’m there so often, I find so many amazing deals! And that way, I won’t feel sad if it falls apart after a wear or two.

Case in point – this outfit. This heart tank? A mere $3. The pants? $6.48. And the shoes? A smidge over $8. An entire outfit for less than $20? Sounds good to me.

bracelets – Tiffany’s and Lois Hill, watch – Michele, earrings – Wild Ruffle

Where do you go to find amazing deals?

  • This weekend was a whirlwind! My husband headed out of town on business on Thursday, and extended his stay until Sunday evening to stay with his uncle. Meanwhile, the kids had more activities schedule during those four days than you can shake a stick at (what does that phrase even mean?!). It seemed that just… [Continue Reading]

  • I just got back from vacation (and have seriously been researching cheap flights – without luck – to leave again because it’s so stinking cold here!). Tammy’s headed out in a few weeks to a warm destination. So we both have the tropics on our minds. We thought we’d put together a handy little vacation… [Continue Reading]

  • My 12 year old was over at a friend’s house last weekend. While most of the time I’m arresting her phone and entering it into our family phone-jail, this time was different. I am proud to say she wasn’t glued to her phone… this time, she was glued to a newspaper! What? Yes. Adaline and… [Continue Reading]

  • As I mentioned last week {here}, we were invited to the Twin Cities Oscar Experience 2015. It proved to be a fabulous soirée with food, Hollywood fashion and most importantly… giving back to the community! All proceeds are split between non-profits, Twin Cities Film Fest and Aegis Foundation. Cate was unable to attend at the last minute… [Continue Reading]

  • Someone take me back to Arizona asap. Seriously – it’s so stinking cold here in Minnesota! I love my home state, but when you board a plane in 80 degree weather, and return to -5 degrees, it’s rough going. I know, I know – I’m not going to inspire sympathy from many around here. After… [Continue Reading]

    Vacation Rewind

Comments

  1. I so agree! It’s all about how you put it together…and in your case, mixing inexpensive pieces with classic pieces (tiffany, your Michelle watch)…no one would ever know!
Love the entire look. And we are getting our first Target in January!

  2. The shoes are FAB!! I find my best deals thrifting – I LOVE the thrill of the hunt (and find a lot of new from Target pieces there)

  3. i love target! it’s also kind of a vacation if you get to go by yourself!! love the outfit!

  4. wow, excellent prices! i love Target, but I tend to buy when it comes out, and over priced…i have a similar shirt with the big black heart that I got there months ago…but its a baggy shirt. very cute outfit!

  5. I love Goodwill….I know, I know…Goodwill! YES! I have the best one by my house with amazing brands that are really inexpensive. I have an entire closet of Anthropologie from Goodwill! Oh and your watch is killing me.

  6. Stopping by from WIWW… LOVE your use of color! And I love Target clothes too!

  7. EEK!!! Jealous of those shoes…they are so vibrant and pretty. I love the mix of bright colours you’ve got in this outfit. I’ve been shopping more at Target lately too, they seem to have really adjusted their aesthetic/quality/prices to reflect what’s hot and the competition they’ve had recently from stores like H&M. I esp love their shoes.

  8. I love it! So tell me, did the pants shrink any? That’s my worry buying pants there. I do have several shirts from Target and they have help up pretty well.

    • They didn’t shrink – but I find inexpensive pants have a tendency to stretch out more as you wear them, so I prefer that they’d shrink a bit with every wash.

  9. Love the outfit and soooo love Target! The tank I have on in my WIWW post was 3.48 from Target! Gotta love it!!!

  10. Wow I can’t believe you found all of that at Target for under $20. I do love Target though. The problem is it’s like a three hour excursion by the time I stop by the clothes, the shoes, the accessories and then get what I came for in the first place! Love this look. Popping over from WIWW.

  11. I love Target! I always find great pieces and I absolutely love these pieces you found – and all for $20! Amazing! I love looking at Plato’s Closet and Clothes Mentor for deals on cardigans, vests and other versatile pieces.

  12. I wish I could find deals like that at our Target. I love their styles but things get sold out pretty quick at our Targets. I shop Ann Taylor Loft for sales. If I buy off the sale rack with an additional percentage off, I am paying Target prices. I’m good with that.

  13. You are mind kind of gal! $20 outfit and Tiffany bracelets! Perfect!! Stopping by from What I wore Wednesday. Love your blog!

  14. $3 for a shirt?!! That is amazing! I love this outfit too. You look so cute. The pants are awesome!

  17. My love for Target knows no bounds. Seriously.

  18. All the colors of this outfit are so FAB. Heart prints are soo in right now, and this is such a perfect pairing. LOVE it!
