I’ve got another fun leather DIY for you today, the second in a series I’m doing with Tammy from a little punchy (see the first here).

Like the last one, this requires no sewing (good news for a girl like me who doesn’t sew!). Just a good old pair of scissors and a hot glue gun.

And it literally took me only a few minutes to complete (more good news!).

I used part of my embossed croc leather hide from the Leather Hide Store to upgrade this clearance pillow I found at Target (for just over $7!).

First, I printed out a letter M, cut it out, and traced it onto the back of the hide. I used sharp scissors to cut out the letter (you could also use a roller cutter, which would be faster and more precise), then hot glued it onto the pillow. Because of the texture of both the leather and the pillow itself, you couldn’t see any lumps from the glue – score! I love a forgiving DIY, don’t you? Pretty darn easy, right?

My thanks once again to the Leatherhide Store for providing this lovely leather for me to work with. I sure am having fun coming up with some fun DIY projects to do with it all. Have you hopped over to their website to check out all the lovely offerings they have there? It’s pretty darn fabulous, and you’re going to love it all.

Happy DIYing everyone! It’s so much fun to be able to create something fun and new, isn’t it?

  1. Hot Glue is a miracle worker when you don’t want to sew or get yourself involved it other, more labor-intensive ways of attaching one thing to something else! 😛
