Ok, before you double check the url above to make sure you’re in the right spot – I realize this is far from the normal blog post I usually do. But… I get requests for this recipe non-stop during the fall months, so I’m finally just going to share it here for everyone to enjoy!

Anything with pumpkin as a main ingredient is going to go over well with me, but this stand by recipe from my mom is my go-to pumpkin bread.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 2/3 cup flour

¼ teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon nutmeg

½ teaspoon cloves

¾ teaspoon salt

1 ½ cup sugar

1 cup pumpkin

½ cup vegetable or canola oil

½ cup water

2 eggs

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Blend dry ingredients.

Add wet ingredients, beat about 2 minutes until smooth. Cook for about 1 hr 15 minutes.

The best part is that this recipe makes two loaves, so you can share one with a friend!

Happy eating!
