Princess Cate

Awhile back, I told you I wanted to try the latest in beauty trends, the bee venom treatment – a favorite of Princess Kate herself. Well, I’m a Cate (close enough) and I consider myself to be practically a princes. So this one was something I had to try.

There aren’t many places in this country that provide this service, so imagine my delight when I learned that my go-to spot for skincare, Prischmann Facial Plastic Surgery, has it available to their clients! I headed in just the other day to check it out for myself.

Bee venom is purported to plump the skin by stimulating elastin and collagen because it tricks the skin into thinking it’s been stung. It’s all natural, and non-invasive.

After applying two different cleansers, one from a carrot butter and another made from crushed flowers, Jillian from Dr. Prischmann’s office applied the bee venom mask to my skin, leaving it on for about 15-20 minutes. I felt mild tingling, but nothing painful.

After washing off the cream, Jillian smoothed on Princess Kate’s favorite moisturizer from Switzerland. I felt quite royal indeed. With skin fit for a princess. I hope my Prince Charming notices!

Though I haven’t been miraculously transformed into a youth again, my skin is definitely softer after this treatment, and more vibrant. I’d definitely go back for another try. Hey, if it’s good enough for the royal family…. well then I suppose it is good enough for me.

Would you try the bee venom treatment?

  1. I had such a great time with you the other night at Dr Prischmann’s office! I scheduled my Bee Venom treatment in a few weeks! Can’t wait!!!!!

  2. I’ve read about this treatment before and it kind of freaked me out at first. But if it’s safe for the royal family, it’s got to be good! If I wasn’t a broke college student, I’d definitely check it out! lol
