An Influential Meetup

Toward the end of December 2012, I saw this girl post about the creation of an online network of Christian women, and I knew I wanted in.

I was in the beginning stages of starting this organization, and the timing was perfect to align myself with like minded women from across the world, many of whom would have knowledge and wisdom in just the areas I was lacking.

I’ve found myself thankful in so many unexpected ways for the blessing these women have been to me (particularly this one) over the last two months. So when they suggested we have an online meetup to get to know each other a little more, I was totally down for it.

And so, I give you three random things about me:

1) I prefer heels to flats, and dresses to pants.

2) If, at any point during my shower, I touch the sides, I have to start the process over. Sometimes it takes me a long while to get through it.

3) I am a glass half full, silver linings, everything-will-turn-out-ok-in-the-end optimist.

If you’re looking for a way to connect online with women who will answer your questions (no matter how great or how small), pray for you, and make connections for you, The Influence Network is for you!

And if you want even more random info about me and my quirks, check out this post. Trust me – I’m chock full of a bit of crazy.

  1. Isn’t it awesome how everyone in the network just gets each other?! No judging, all grace, and so incredibly helpful, it’s the perfect kind of community to be a part of.

    xo

  4. I prefer heels to flats, too! I work retail and it breaks my heart that I can never wear heels to work. (It’s part of the dress code. I would totally try to pull it anyway if it weren’t.)

I am a pessimist whose best attempt at optimism is realism. I figure pessimists and optimists need a good balance of the other so let’s be friends. :]

  5. I renamed how the glass is. It’s not half full or half empty, it’s simply always moving, shifting in different seasons. I’m so glad you joined in.
