When we built this house five and a half years ago, we did it with our family in mind. We didn’t want to be thinking about what a future buyer would prefer, because we envision ourselves staying in this house for a long time.
Something that was not a huge value?
A huge master bedroom and bathroom.
We are rarely in these spaces, unless we’re getting ready or sleeping. So we went for quality over quantity instead – though I do regret the decision not to push for more space in the closet! That’s something that I could always use more square footage in! We wanted our space to be well thought out and easily usable without being overly large.
This tub makes me happy. It’s pretty, and it’s the absolute perfect size for me. At some point I need to find one of those trays that fit across a claw foot tub so I can rest a book and a glass of wine there.
My husband found this gem of a saying the other day, and we both knew right away it was coming home with us.
Dual sinks – one of the best things we ever did for our marriage. 😉
Many of you know my oddball shower issues (click here if you haven’t heard the story yet). Happily, this shower is large so I rarely have an incident.
