Last week I shared my front porch decor for fall (and update: I have since located pumpkins!). (By the way THANK YOU once again for the crazy number of times you pinned that post – WOW!)
So I thought it was time to share part of the indoor seasonal changes.
I am trying my darndest to curb my spending habit this year.
So I headed to the back yard and picked tall grasses for the centerpieces. My husband, AKA Mr. Budget, was duly impressed. At least, that’s how I’m choosing to interpret the fact that he called me Martha Freaking Stewart as I walked in with my bouquet.
My one indulgence this year was my velvet pumpkin set. I’ve seen them elsewhere for much, much more, but Camille en Rouge here in downtown Prior Lake charges just $7 for a small, and $15 for the large one – and they’re handmade! Perfect.
By the way, the black table you see in the background? This was changed shortly after these pictures were taken, and I couldn’t be more excited about the end result. As much as I’d love to buy a new one, it’s just not the right season for us (as I was reminded after discovering pen scribbles on one of the chairs the other day). Between my three littles, and the multitudes of other children we host here, my someday dream of a lovely farm style table will remain a dream. BUT… my easy redo was a great compromise – you can check that out here.
Have you decorated for fall yet?
