We’re all about being thankful here at Wild Ruffle (as evidenced by this), so when Thanksgiving rolls around it’s a pretty exciting thing.
I was amazed by how many of you showed your support of what we do here by pinning our early fall front porch decor. Thank you, thank you!
Hopefully, you’re every bit as excited as I am about our Thanksgiving decor.
My mom used to make wreathes out of vines when I was growing up – the vines were everywhere in our wooded backyard.
Happily, I found some vines of my own and whipped this one up the other day. The addition of some burlap ribbon was all it needed to feel a little special. With a new chalkboard (because I’m obsessed with chalkboarding everything – remember this, and this, and this?), and some branches in the milk can, we were all set for the next holiday.
By the way, I chopped these branches off a fallen tree behind my house. I betcha didn’t know I had some mad lumberjack skills in me.
Do you change up your porch decor with each season? Or do you like to keep it simple and stick with the same look? What do you like to do to decorate for fall? Do you do pumpkins? Real or faux? Do you turn to nature to pull together your look, or do you buy and reuse each year? Where are your favorite places to shop?
