The day we went shopping for our new Hello Kitty Let’s Play clothes is now known in our household as The Very Best Day.
It was a day when everything fell into place, paving the way for perfection.
Big sister Avery had gone off to the school for the day, granting little sister Sadie permission to borrow her iPod during our trip to the mall – which is kind of a big deal around here.
Brother Davis had been invited to a friend’s house for a play date, and boy was he NOT sad to miss a trip to the mall.
Grandma Lala had no afternoon plans, so a spur of the moment Sadie day, with 100% of Lala and Mommy’s attention on our girl, was born.
Knowing that our Hello Kitty loving girl was hoping to try on lots of clothes, we downloaded the KuKee app onto the iPod before leaving the house. We picked out all kinds of fun items to try, then went on the hunt for the KuKee marker(see picture below), which lets your child have an interactive experience while shopping – you can also find these on the KuKee Pinterest board! And then Sadie got to shop and play, dressing up Hello Kitty in crowns and pretty accessories as we went.
(Check out the tutorial at the bottom of this page for easy instructions for downloading and using the app.)
People. Let me tell you about how excited Sadie was about her new clothes. She was so excited, in fact, that she could not stop spinning.
She has worn the outfit we picked EVERY DAY since we purchased it. That’s a whopping five days in a row.
When I picked her up at pre-school, the teacher said to me, “I heard all about your shopping trip for Hello Kitty clothes, and how she got to play with a dress up app too.” I kid you not. The Very Best Day indeed.
If you want to have your own Very Best Day experience with the KuKee app and Hello Kitty Let’s Play by Evy of California, you can head to Macy’s – AND they’re having some amazing Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals too (yahoo!).
Sadie has a list of items she wants for Christmas, like this and this and this, so I’m thankful for those special deals!
