I went to my grandfather’s funeral last week on the east coast, and a storm was predicted on our last day.
What was supposed to be a quick stop into the grocery store turned into a longer visit, as panicked shoppers filled their carts with necessities – certain they’d be stuck in their houses for days.
Weather casters wore serious expressions on their faces, and warned of the terrors to come – multiple inches of snow were forecasted!
Here in Minnesota, we laugh in the face of your multiple inches.
In fact, we’ve had multiple inches multiple times already this year – and we’re just getting started. There’s a lot more ahead of us, that’s for sure.
And we won’t let a little thing like subzero temps get in the way of our outfit posts. Just throw a pair of leg warmers on top of your open toed wedge heels, and life goes right on. 😉
That’s how we do Minnesota winters.
leg warmers – similar, tights – Kohl’s, sweater dress – Target (similar), shoes and scarf – c/o Ann Taylor
What’s the weather like in your neck of the woods? Are you walking around in a short sweater dress too? I mean, throw a pair of leg warmers on and it’s totally winter weather appropriate, right? I’m going with yes. Because otherwise I’m just a crazy lady, and there’s absolutely no way that is the case. Haha!
Here’s to warmer weather coming again someday!
