See what I did there? Wink, wink.
I was not going to jump on the overalls trend.
It took me right back to junior high (the last time I owned a pair), and honestly – who wants to go back to those awkward fashion days? Not me, that is for certain.
But then I started seeing more of them… and they started to grow on me.
This generation of overall pants is a little different. They’re more fitted, and the bib is smaller. They’re definitely more flattering than the ones I rocked back in middle school. And they’re comfortable. Wins all around.
Plus, I can girly them up with some sky high heels, or wear them casually with my chucks.
So I’m jumping on board. My husband… well, he’s another story. He already asked me why I bought farmer pants and rolled his eyes when I added the heels. But maybe they’ll start to grow on him too. 😉 Or maybe not. Since he’s usually not a fan of anything new or different. He likes classic, and he’s sticking to that story.
By the way, the last photo is one my oldest daughter (and go-to photographer) bet me I wouldn’t include. I’m too stubborn to lose a bet like that – ha!
