I’m a sucker for anything that exfoliates, and lately I’ve been scrubbing my face every night with the Pure Complexion Facial Sponge from Ecotools. Made from 100% natural ingredients, it easily washes away dirt, oil, and makeup. Plus, the bamboo charcoal removes old skin cells – hurrah! Old skin cells, be gone! They’ve got a sensitive skin version too, for those in need of a gentler touch.

Another new beauty love of mine is Australian jojoba from the Jojoba Company. It’s 100% natural, and derived from a plant that contains a wax ester similar to that of our skin. It’s also hypoallergenic, and chock full of antioxidants. Your epidermis is actually tricked into thinking the jojoba is skin itself, so it lets it in deep to deliver it’s powerful ingredients for healthier skin. Works for me!

Tammy’s newest beauty love is her powder from Magic Minerals by Jerome Alexander. Why is it magic, you ask? This powder diminishes the appearance of age spots, dark spots, and uneven tone – and it doesn’t get caught in fine lines or wrinkles. Wahoo! Plus, it’s super reasonably priced at just $19.99 – and that includes a bonus mascara!

We’ve also been busy trying out pretty much everything Perfectly Posh has to offer. Jessica, from Cheapskate Beauty Blogger, generously sent over some products to try… and we’re having a hard time picking a favorite!

If I HAD to choose, I think I’d go with the Diamond MicroDerm Shine Bright Like a Diamond Microderm Scrub. It has actual diamond powder in it people. And you know those are a girl’s best friend. The exfoliating power in this one was truly outstanding.

My other fave was the Delish! Foaming Face Wash. It was super gentle and was aptly named – it really did smell delish. It uses fruit extracts to remove dirt, oil, and dead skin. And did I mention that it smelled delish? Because it did.

Tammy loved the Snarky Bar. With a fresh floral and sandalwood scent, this one uses shea butter and snarky beads for a fantastic pedi scrub. She also picked the Moisturize 911 as a fave. This product uses caffeine to tighten and brighten skin as it moisturizes, smoothing it out as you go.
