I became friends with Erin Kate Duininck before we ever even met.
After hearing me speak at a women’s event in February of 2011, she sent me a message on Facebook and we instantly connected.
Beyond the fact that this woman is enormously talented, I am constantly impressed by her enormous heart and incredible generosity. She was an integral part of my Educate Rwanda campaign, and she recently hosted an evening of shopping to benefit Urban Homeworks at the beautiful Orchard Art House.
While she’s open for business all the time at her cute little Excelsior shop, she’ll be joining us once again for our fall Pop Up Shop, coming up on Saturday, Nov 1st from 9am-1pm at City Hall in downtown Prior Lake.
I’m so excited that she’s going to be a vendor at the upcoming Wild Ruffle Pop Up Shop! Even her gift wrapping is over the top, amazingly beautiful, and designed with love. Each one is hand stamped with a hand shredded silk ribbon.
While shopping at the Orchard Art House, I spotted the vintage map charm with two of my favorite cities on it – Minneapolis and Chicago – as well as the Missouri River, and I knew I had to have it. I’m certain you’ll find something among her collection that will speak to you as well.
So put November 1st on your calendar, because you’re going to want to head to Prior Lake and check out ekate designs in person.
