Knockin’ Boots

To all those that assumed this was a continuation of the last couple of weeks where I talked about marriage and how to retain your passion for one another… my apologies.

Sometimes it’s just about fashion.

I’m a Minnesota girl, and I love fashion and pretty things. But I also live in a very snowy state. There is a good chance that my winter looks will all include my Sorels. It’s kind of the Minnesota uniform (that, and my North Face jacket).

While I love a good bargain, two things I will wholeheartedly get behind spending a bunch of money on are high quality boots, and a super toasty warm coat. After all, we had several days off of school last year due to the cold.

A girl’s gotta do what she’s gotta do to stay warm.

So I’ll be knockin’ snow off these boots pretty much every day this winter. And happily so. I’m loving my cozy warm feet in them, and that they look pretty at the same time. It’s wins all around, and I’m a fan of that.

Do you that one item (or more) you’re totally willing to spend extra money on? What are your investment pieces in your wardrobe?
