We’re one week into realizing our dream of having a retail shop.

If you haven’t stopped by our sweet little spot just yet, we’d love to invite you to change that. 😉 Pop on over to 16220 Main Ave in downtown Prior Lake, and you’ll find all kinds of handmade goodness awaiting you.

But we’re not talking ‘craft fair’ here. We have nothing but stunning pieces from talented artisans. And we can’t help but want to tell you all about them. Of course, you already know all about Urban Halo headbands, studio scarves, and their adorable line of baby halos. And you know Wild Ruffle for jewelry, scarves, and more. But there are so many other fabulous participants in our new venture, and we’d love for you to meet them all. Since there’s too much to fit into just one post, we’ll start with just a few.

First up? Meet Heather. We shared a bit about her on our Instagram feed this past weekend, but there’s so much more to tell you. Heather is a busy mom of three littles, and a piano teacher. In her spare time, she creates beautiful pieces for her business, Finders Keepers. Not only does she refinish vintage furniture into new and lovely items (have you seen Cate’s sewing table turned bar cart from Finders Keepers?), but she also creates holiday decor, picture frames, and items to decorate your home for the whole year through. Check out our pictures below of her gorgeous hand painted Christmas boards.

We’d also love to introduce you to Abbey. You also met her via our Instagram feed, but there’s so much more to know. We first met Abbey when she was at the table next to us at Sparkle. After seeing her high quality quilts and pillows made with super fun Minnesota themed prints (she and her husband create the prints themselves!), and hearing everyone ooh and aah over them, we knew we had to have her goodies in the shop. She just dropped them off this week, so if you haven’t been in the shop in the last couple of days, you need to come in pronto and see them for yourself!

Next on our list of intros is Janell, of Hair Candy. If you’re looking for something for a little one in your life, then she just might have the perfect item for you. Her leg warmers started flying off the shelf the moment we opened on Thursday. Her tutus are just too too cute. And her giant sparkly bows? They couldn’t be more fun.

You want something unique to give this year? You HAVE to see the incredible cutting boards made by Gary Buck (who just so happens to be Tammy’s uncle!). Gar makes his boards from fallen trees on his property. You wouldn’t believe the care he puts into each one, and the patterns are simply amazing. I guarantee it’ll be one of the standout gifts your recipients open up this holiday season. They’re perfect for anyone who loves to entertain.

Every single person who walks into our shop asks why it smells so lovely in there. The answer? Hannah & Hobbes soaps. Made from the highest quality natural ingredients, owner Chrissy’s soaps, lotions, and bath salts are literally a breath of fresh air. Add a wooden soap block and you’ve got a gift that fits just about everybody.

If you’re looking to be inspired, then Brooke Flesner is your girl. The owner of Flezpirations paints fabulous canvases with scripture, wise words, and other famous quotes. Whether you’re looking for something for Christmas or year round, you’ll be sure to find the perfect thing to grace your walls. Brooke has items for little ones and grown up alike. She’s also got a bubbly personality and you just can’t help but smile when you’re around her.

Our last introduction for now? It’s Hannah Bechtel, of Dapper and Posh. Hannah is a mother of three adorable girls, and a fabulous leader of women – as the wife of a pastor (and a certified minister herself), we’re not sure where she finds the time to sew. But we’re oh so glad she does, because each of her pretty pillows are handmade with care.

We’ve got so much more to share with you all… but we’re showing some restraint. Good things come to those who wait, right? Stay tuned for more shop intros, soon to come!
