My Fine Feathered Friend

When Tammy asked me what I was wearing to her birthday party, I said, “I don’t know – probably dressed up jeans?”

And then I saw this skirt.

And I knew what I was wearing to Tammy’s party. I mean, what’s a party without feathers? Not much of one at all, I tell ya.

Because I clearly need to wear this feathered skirt as often as possible, I also wore it for Christmas Eve. My husband was a little worried that it wasn’t exactly church length (and there is a good chance he was correct), but I decided that Jesus would love me no matter the length. And besides, the turtleneck had church written all over it.

Am I right? 😉

On the way out the door to the service, I grabbed this clutch bag, nearly forgotten in the back of my closet. Tammy actually shared the DIY on this pretty bag last year (before we were officially a Wild Ruffle duo) – it’s so easy to make! Check out the how-to here.

What do you think about feathers? Do they might your heart soar like an eagle, or do they make you want to stick your head in the sand and hide like an ostrich? Ok, that’s all I’ve got for bird analogies. Anyone else have a good bird analogy for me? 😉
