Tammy and I are both busy moms of three, and as such, we spend a lot of time in the kitchen.
We’re always on the hunt for kitchen tools that are going to make life easier, so with that in mind, we searched high and low for some fun ones to share with all of you.
By the way, in the interest of making life easy, I’m currently subscribing to Prep Dish, a service that creates meal plans (choose from either Gluten Free or Paleo), your shopping list, and instructions for how to prep a week’s worth of meals in about two hours. Dinner time has suddenly become a whole lot easier for our family. But I digress.
If you have yet to try a spiralizer, you need to change that asap. With little effort, you can turn those veggies into noodles (or rather, they’re noodle like) to create an easy swap out for a healthy upgrade to dinner. They might not fool the pickiest of eaters, but it’s worth a shot!
A friend gifted me with herb scissors, and they’ve become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. They make cutting fresh herbs a snap, with multiple blades that snip them right up into tiny pieces!
At our house, breakfast is the favorite meal of the day. While I have yet to purchase a breakfast sandwich maker, this one is looking pretty tempting!
If your husband is like mine, and is nervous about cutting directly on the granite, you may want about 1000 flexible cutting boards in your kitchen arsenal too!
There’d be no mistaking this family for vegetarians… My kiddos and their daddy LOVE meat. These shredding claws make taco night so much easier!
Slicing through all that meat makes our knives get pretty dull. We keep them razor sharp with knife sharpener set.
I don’t actually own this item. But it is on my list! Because apparently, nobody in this family can remember to put on the chip clips, and we end up with stale snacks ALL the time. This bag resealer would be just the thing to keep things fresh around here.
What are your favorite ‘make life easier’ kitchen items?
