Moving On

January 11, 2016

Last week, I talked about how I had done something I regretted, and about how difficult it can be to forgive yourself for the mistakes you make.

And then I got the sweetest voicemail, from a friend I haven’t talked to in years. She reminded me about the things I’ve done right over the years, and the mistakes I haven’t made. And it was just what I needed to be able to move on.

So here’s to forgiving oneself, and moving past our mistakes. To remembering the good we’ve done, and how it outweighs the bad (or so we hope!).

Today, I’m thankful for friends who are there just when you need them the most. What would I do without them?

On another note entirely, we have a TON of super cute new stuff in, and even more on the way. I’m crazy for all of it. But since it’s definitely sweater weather right now, I’m starting with this item. It’s a great transitional piece – layer it up on colder days, and wear it with just a tank on those warmer ones (please Lord, let there be lots of warmer ones coming our way!).

There are little snippets of burgundy running through the cream in this beauty, which is what makes it just a little more special. And we’re big fans.
