I love tie dye. I’m not talking about the rainbow colored classic, but rather muted shades in this classic print. Whenever I see it, I naturally gravitate toward it and want to fill my closet with it. I may be the farthest thing from a hippie, but I’ll take this hippy dippy print any day of the week.
So it’s no surprise that I had to have this for Wild Ruffle.
With the ties up the back, it makes for an easy to wear piece that I can grab over and over again, while still feeling fresh with new accessories, etc.
Now I just need this crazy weather to warm up a bit so I don’t have to cover myself completely with my puffy coat. That’s the worst part about Minnesota winters – no one gets to see your cute outfit unless you’re inside with them. But what kind of crazy lady would take off her jacket to show you in the dead of winter?
The kind of crazy person that takes outfit pictures on the regular, I suppose. 😉
This dress is perfect for this transitional time of year, however. Strip off that jacket when the weather is ready, and you’re ready to go with these three quarter length sleeves and lightweight material. Paired with the fleece leggings below, I’m warm and cozy. But with a lighter weight legging or tights (or for the bravest with the hottest legs, all by its lonesome), it takes you right into spring.
